The Russian military released a video of the ballistic missile attack on the Ukrainian tank convoy.

RT reported that on August 7, the Russian Defense Ministry released a new video of a ballistic missile attack on a convoy of Ukrainian tanks concentrated in the forest area, in the context of Kiev's forces raiding Russia's Kursk province.

The video recorded by a drone shows many Ukrainian armored vehicles parked in a section of the forest between two fields. The Russian Defense Ministry said the attack targeted combat vehicles and special vehicles located in areas bordering Kursk Oblast.

The Ukrainian tank convoy was hit by a ballistic missile containing cluster bombs fired by the Iskander-M system. Although the extent of the damage to the vehicles was not immediately clarified, one of them was seen accelerating but suddenly stopped in the middle of the road.

General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov said that at 5:30 a.m. on August 6, local time, the Ukrainian army launched a major raid on Russia's Kursk province, raiding across the border at many locations. The attack focused on the town of Sudzha, located about 9 km from the border.

According to Russian military estimates, up to 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers participated in the attack. The army raided with dozens of heavy equipment, including tanks of various types, US-made Stryker armored vehicles, along with armored vehicles and other equipment.

According to the Russian military, Ukraine's deeper offensive into its territory was repelled and Kiev suffered a comprehensive defeat.

The Russian military launched attacks with artillery, air superior and ballistic missiles on Ukrainian forces, killing more than 300 soldiers and 54 armored vehicles, including at least 6 tanks.
