Offatt Military Station in Nebraska, home to the US Armed Forces Strategic Command, was flooded by rising water levels in the Missouri River.
The flooded photos were posted on the Facebook page of 55th Air Defense Commander, US Air Force Colonel Michael Manion.
This air base is one of the most important bases for the US Army because there is also a Nightwatch Boeing E-4B aircraft, known as the "end-of-the-line aircraft".
The Nightwatch Boeing E-4B is reserved for the US government and military command in the event of nuclear war, when ground structures will be destroyed.
The base is located in the latest underground tunnel - where the control of US nuclear weapons is carried out.
A third of the air base was submerged in water, 30 of the 200 buildings in the base were damaged, including several E-4B Nightwatch aircraft storage facilities and nearly 1 km of runway.
