According to TASS news agency on June 29, the European Union (EU) is considering the possibility of providing Ukraine with a new loan worth 30-45 billion euros in case the conflict continues after 2027.
This information was given by Mr. Pekka Toveri, head of the Ukraine-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee at the European Parliament.
Discussions and planning for the future have been carried out to ensure there is no gap in support operations after 2027," Mr. Toveri said.
EU funding for Ukraine in the 2026-2027 period is up to 90 billion euros, and additional disbursements to the Kiev government from Europe and other donors "will be around 30-45 billion euros," he added.
