Mr. Steve Witkoff - US President's special envoy and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner may visit Russia at the end of August, but no specific date has been set, a source revealed to TASS.

Previously, many sources said that special envoys Witkoff and Kushner were in daily contact with Russian and Ukrainian officials on resolving the conflict.

In the context of the somewhat stable Middle East situation, there has been some recent information showing that Mr. Witkoff and Mr. Kushner will resume reconciliation efforts in the Ukraine conflict.

Recently, in a phone call, Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump discussed resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

Kremlin Assistant Yury Ushakov shared: "Surely, the two presidents mentioned the issue of resolving the conflict in Ukraine, including considering the upcoming participation of President Donald Trump in the NATO summit in Turkey on July 7-8.

The US President once again affirmed his willingness to facilitate a ceasefire as soon as possible and seek peaceful solutions to overcome the crisis" - Mr. Ushakov emphasized.
