The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel said that as of the morning of June 16, no Vietnamese citizen had been injured or killed in the recent attacks and fighting between Israel and Iran.
For three consecutive nights, from the night of June 13 to the morning of June 16, security in Israel, especially in Tel Aviv and the Central regions, has been tense due to missile attacks and airstrikes passed between the two sides.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Land Front Command has repeatedly issued a warning note and requested people to take shelter in safe areas.
The Vietnamese Embassy said that immediately after the tensions escalated, the agency activated an urgent communication channel with the Vietnamese community, and coordinated with associations and groups to grasp the situation and provide timely support if necessary.
Currently, the Embassy continues to advise Vietnamese citizens to limit unnecessary travel, avoid dangerous areas, regularly update information through official channels and stay in touch with representative agencies in case of emergency.
On the night of June 15 and early morning of June 16, Iran launched three missile launches into cities in the North and Central regions of Israel in retaliation for the country's military attacks.
Israel's Magen David Adom emergency agency said five people were killed and at least 87 others were injured in the latest missile attack by Iran.
