The new Southern Interconnection gas pipeline will connect Bosnia with Croatia's gas network and the liquefied natural gas (LNG) port on Krk Island located in the Adriatic Sea.

In another development, investment group Pantheon Atlas LLC (USA) announced plans to develop a super-scale AI data center and innovation zone worth 50 billion euros (about 58 billion USD) in Croatia. A memorandum of understanding has been signed with Koncar Group of Croatia as a local partner.
