The remaining flank of the plane and other parts are scattered around the rubble and the remnants of the house. Rescue workers began searching for the victim. Almaty Health Department initially reported 15 or more deaths but later reduced the number to 12. They said 66 people have been taken to the hospital, some of whom are in serious condition. The plane was carrying 93 passengers and 5 crew members. Captain Murat Muratbayev was among the dead victims. Fortunately, the two babies were saved in the horrific plane crash. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his condolences and pledged to compensate the victims' families. The flight journey of the plane with registration number Z9 2100 took off from Almaty, Kazakhstan to the capital Nur-Sultan.
