The rare incident occurred on June 16 at the Seaview Predator Park wildlife Reserve near Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
In a statement on Facebook, the park said that an employee named David Solomon was attacked by a Siberia-like tiger named Jasper, who jumped over the fence and killed him.
It is known that Solomon was walking in the path between the fences when the incident occurred, the electric fence around the tiger cage was being repaired at that time.
Park added: '' David tried to climb over the fence to escape but was pulled down by Jasper''.
The fierce tiger then continued to jump over the fence into the cage, locking in two other Siberia tigers, Judah and Amber, continued to fight and killed Judah.
The veterinarians then had to use sedatives on the two tigers Jaspar and Amber to be able to bring the bodies of the victim Solomon and the body of the Judah outside.
After the incident, the management board immediately closed the conservation area, supporting visitors to return home safely.
According to the park's Facebook page, Solomon has been a long-time employee here. He has been in contact with animals for 15 years, since they were just tigers.
After the attack, the park also had no intention of destroying the Jasper tiger. It has been returned to the barn with an electrical fence back in operation.
Local police said they are starting to investigate the incident, and it appears the tiger was agitated for physiological reasons.
