On June 8, the Israeli Air Force attacked Iranian military targets in western and central Iran, the Israel Defense Forces said on Telegram.

Israel launched attacks early on June 8 against military targets in western and central Iran, just hours after Iran launched a series of missiles at Israeli targets in retaliation for the attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon.

Earlier on June 8, Iranian state television said on Telegram that "several explosions were heard in Tehran, Tabriz and Isfahan".

Iran has closed its airspace around Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran after Israeli attacks.

Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran is one of two airports serving the capital, which previously suspended all incoming flights after Iran's missile attacks on Israel, local media reported.
