Bangkok Post reported that a building in Phanthai Norasing area, Muang district, Samut Sakhon province, Thailand suddenly subsided at 7:00 p.m. on August 19.
The whole building has 3 floors, each floor has 10 rooms, of which 29 are for rent with about 50 people. Most of them are workers. At the time of the accident, everyone was in the room. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the accident.
Scene taken from the camera shows the building suddenly subsidence, causing the columns of the house on the first floor to break, the walls and ceiling to crack. Therefore, some people had to break the door to escape because the door was jammed.
The building's owner, Yiam Kamlim (67 years old), said it was built five years ago with a 21-meter-deep house. She added that tenants would be moved to another building.
Local authorities have sealed the scene and are investigating the cause.
