About 250,000 people attended the papal funeral of Francis, including about 50,000 people gathered in St. Petro Square to watch the rituals.
According to Sky News, at St.Peter Square, there were 220 doctors and 750 priests waiting in line to bid farewell to the popes.
After the funeral services ended, the papal relics left St. Petro Square, passing through many streets of the Italian capital to reach their final resting place.
The Vatican said that about 150,000 people lined up on the streets of Rome to witness the coffin of Pope Francis being taken to his final resting place at the Imperial Academy of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome.
The burial of Pope Francis was held privately. The Vatican City has previously announced that the public can visit the tomb of Cardinal Francis from the morning of April 27.
