RT reported that the Russian army destroyed another M777 artillery fragrance in Ukraine's Kharkov region.
The Russian Defense Ministry released a new video showing the destruction of a US-made M777 artillery fragrance in Ukraine. The Russian military said the artillery was shot down by Lancet patrol shells on September 7.
The firecracker was discovered during a redeployment in Ukraine's Kharkov. Infrared drone footage released by the Russian Defense Ministry shows the artillery being towed by a truck. The convoy car was seen moving in front of the firecracker.
The M777 was eventually hit by a Lancet while it reached a forest outside a village. Drone footage showed a major fire and secondary explosions at the site, showing the artillery and ammunition were destroyed.
The US-made 155mm M777 artillery shell has become one of the main medium- to long-range artillery weapons in Ukraine's arsenal, with at least 200 artillery pieces transferred by Western countries to Kiev. The majority of the firecrackers were supplied by Washington, with a small number provided by its allies, including Canada and Australia.
More than 100 units of this type of artillery were destroyed by Russian forces during the fighting. These systems have been repeatedly attacked by Lancet drones at their launch sites, as well as fallen victim to other anti-personnel warfare vehicles, including airstrikes, missiles and artillery.
