Weather MC in Minnesota, USA was criticized for texting his wife while hosting a live broadcast. The MC in the news is Nick Jansen - head of the KTTC monument meteorological station.
In the video, MC Jansen is reporting on the storm situation in the southeast Minnesota and northern Iowa on the night of July 28.
During the live broadcast, the weather MC suddenly stopped to text while on the screen he was showing graphic images of weather developments.
"Sorry, I just texted my wife. The baby has been sleeping all night, so it can be considered temporarily stable at this point, Jansen said in the weather forecast.

The news was not interrupted after that. However, on July 30, the host of this program shared on Facebook about receiving a criticism email from an audience member, saying that his actions were unprofessional.
MC Jansen responded that he values work and the safety of viewers, but he is also a husband and a father.
"In the midst of dangerous weather, I decided to take some time to ensure my wife and children were safe. Not that I am unprofessional, but I am just behaving like a human being. First of all, I am a husband and a father - MC Jansen wrote.
