A group of real estate brokers in central China asked the manager to slaper them in the face as a punishment to remind them to improve their work performance, the Daily Mail reported on May 4.

The real estate company confirmed the incident but the spokesperson declined to comment, according to local media.
Video of the female manager slapping 6 male employees was shared in text messages groups on WeChat in Nghi Xuong, Hubei Province from May 3.
In this video, the male employees lined up and were slapped one by one by the female manager. Both the staff and the manager are said to have burst into tears while serving this penalty.

He explained that the female manager asked the staff about the form of punishment they would receive for not working hard. These employees then asked the manager to slaughter them in the face.
According to this source, the manager, surnamed Zhang, did not agree to this penalty until the staff begged for it 4-5 times.
This video was also shared on Weibo and female manager Zhang was heavily criticized by users. Ms. Zhang resigned afterwards, Mr. Hu said.
