On August 3, a shocking incident occurred in New Zealand when a bus driver suddenly discovered a 2-year-old girl hidden in a suitcase, placed in the luggage compartment.

According to local police, the incident occurred at a stop in the Kaiwaka area, north of Auckland city (New Zealand).

At that time, the driver noticed unusual signs of movement in a suitcase after a passenger suggested opening the luggage compartment.

After checking, they discovered a girl inside, her body was hot due to lack of gas, but she was still alert and had no clear signs of injury.

The baby was then quickly transferred to the hospital, in stable condition and is being monitored for health. However, the time it was locked in the suitcase was still unclear.

Meanwhile, the woman carrying the suitcase was arrested by the police on charges of abusing and neglecting children. The identity of this person has not been revealed.

InterCity Transport also confirmed the incident on one of its vehicles.

The incident immediately fueled a wave of outrage in New Zealand public opinion. Many people ask: Why is a child locked in a suitcase without anyone knowing? Is this an act of evading tickets, or are there more serious motives?

The authorities said they are urgently investigating to clarify the entire developments and purpose behind this action.
