The Russian army has controlled 2 settlements in the Kharkov and Zaporozhye regions in the past 24 hours, within the framework of a special military operation in Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said: "Units of the Northern Combat Group have seized control of the Shcherbakovka settlement in the Kharkov region through active combat operations. Units of the Eastern Combat Group have advanced deep into the enemy's defense line and liberated the Novoye Pole settlement in the Zaporozhye region.
According to the latest data, the Ukrainian army has lost about 1,320 soldiers in battles with Russian forces throughout the front lines. Data shows that Ukraine lost about 240 soldiers, 1 armored personnel carrier and 3 armored fighting vehicles in the area of responsibility of the Northern Combat Group, about 210 soldiers and 2 armored vehicles in the Western Combat Group area, about 150 soldiers and 1 armored vehicle in the Southern Combat Group area.
Besides, there are more than 370 soldiers, 1 tank and 3 armored vehicles in the Central Operations Group area, more than 315 soldiers and 3 armored vehicles in the Eastern Operations Group area, and more than 35 soldiers and 1 cannon in the Dnepr Operations Group area.
The Northern Combat Group has caused losses to 2 mechanized brigades, 1 mechanized infantry brigade, 1 attack regiment and 2 territorial defense brigades of Ukraine in areas near Sliznevo, Dergachi, Udy, Prikolotnoye, Kazachya Lopan and Vasilevka in the Kharkov region and the city of Kharkov. In the direction of Sumy, these units also caused losses in areas near Sadki, Ulanovo, Pisarevka and Khrapovshchina.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also said that tactical air force, attack drones, Russian missile and artillery forces destroyed a Ukrainian patrol boat in the Black Sea, and attacked logistics centers, ammunition depots and storage locations for attack drones, along with temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries at 154 locations.
Russian air defense forces also intercepted 931 drones and 12 smart bombs.
