Russia accelerates Su-34 production, sets record for fighter jet handover

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has just handed over a series of modern Su-34 fighter jets to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the announcement on September 15 by UAC - a subsidiary of Russian defense industry group Rostec, before receiving the receipt, all of these Su-34 aircraft had completed ground testing and flight at the plant.

UAC affirmed that production lines have been increased in capacity, ensuring regular handover and increasing the number of Russian Air Force - Aerospace.

Mr. Vadim Badekha, General Director of the UAC, emphasized: September became a record milestone in the number of fighter jets we handed over to the army. Clearly recognizing the importance of providing equipment to the army, the factories not only completed the contract on time but also continuously improved the process to produce larger volumes.

The Su-34 is a new generation fighter - fighter jet, designed to carry out many types of tasks, from precision ground clearing, naval attack to electronic warfare and reconnaissance.

With long range, diverse weapons and modern electronic defense systems, the Su-34 is considered one of Russia's strategic cards to maintain its advantage in the air.

In the special military campaign in Ukraine, the Su-34 was used many times to support fire, destroy enemy infrastructure and logistics.

Analysts often compare the Russian Su-34 with the US F-15E Strike Eagle or the French Rafale. While the F-15E stands out for its long-range attack capability with a state-of-the-art radar system, while the Rafale scores points for its flexibility in multi-purpose combat, the Su-34 has advantages in high impact resistance, armored cockpit and wide range of action.

This makes the Su-34 suitable for long-term campaigns in harsh conditions, where endurance is prioritized no less than combat performance.

Russia's continued acceleration of the handover of this fighter jet is not only to strengthen air power, but also sends a clear message about the ability to maintain large-scale arms production despite international sanctions pressure.
