Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said the above information in an interview with Rossiya-1 channel, broadcast on August 10.
Oreshnik hypersonic missile - thats right, but we have other weapons. We are not wasting time, Ryabkov said. He declined to disclose details for security reasons, only asserting that Russia is in possession of such weapons.
When asked if Russia was deploying new weapons to other areas, Ryabkov said: "It would be a complete mistake and irresponsible if I revealed the specific location." However, he stressed that Moscow had always had many options on the table and never ruled out any possibility.

On November 21 last year, President Vladimir Putin accused the US and its NATO allies of giving Ukraine a green light for the use of long-range precision weapons. Just a few days later, military facilities in Russia's Kursk and Bryansk regions were attacked by US and UK-made missiles.
In response, Russia used the Oreshnik medium-range hypersonic missile for the first time in a non-nuclear attack on the Yuzhmash defense plant in the city of Dnepr (formerly Dnepropetrovsk) of Ukraine.
The Oreshnik is considered by observers to be a new generation of Russian weapons, capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear warheads, with high speed and accuracy, making it difficult to intercept by existing NATO defense systems.
President Putin has stressed that the West's "provocational" policies could have serious consequences if the conflict escalates. Moscow's disclosure of possessing additional military technology "cards" outside of the Oreshnik is seen as a clear deterrent to Washington and Brussels.
Analysts said that this move is not only to demonstrate military power, but also to create an advantage in negotiations. Meanwhile, Russia's secretive status of the type and location of deployment helps maintain the surprise factor, forcing opponents to calculate carefully before each step.
If the West continues to increase long-range arms aid to Ukraine, the risk of direct confrontation with Russia will increase and the "unreported" weapons that Mr. Ryabkov mentioned could become a factor changing the situation.
