Over the past 24 hours, Kinzhal hypersonic missile and attack UAV attacks have destroyed infrastructure at many Ukrainian military airports. The airstrike's targets have been achieved," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Russian operational groups continue to overwhelm Ukrainian forces throughout the conflict. According to the latest statistics from the Russian Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian army has lost about 1,160 soldiers in just one day.
The Northern Group (Battlegroup North) has eliminated about 120 soldiers from the battlefield and destroyed 4 Ukrainian armored vehicles, mainly in the Sumy and Kharkov areas. Meanwhile, the Western Group (Battlegroup West) suffered losses of 225 soldiers, along with 2 armored vehicles, 19 motor vehicles and destroyed 3 ammunition depots of the enemy.
Towards the South, the Russian task force recorded the withdrawal of 150 soldiers, destroying one artillery piece and one armored vehicle. With the Center group (Battlegroup Center), the Russian army caused casualties of up to 385 Ukrainian soldiers, along with 2 infantry fighting vehicles and many artillery weapons destroyed.
The East and Dnepr also saw significant damage from Ukraine. The Eastern Group (Battlegroup East) alone destroyed more than 215 troops, while the Dnepr group destroyed 65 troops, destroyed 3 harassment stations and a logistics depot of the enemy.
Not only fired on land, Russian air forces, artillery and UAVs also launched coordinated attacks, attacking more than 140 targets of the Ukrainian army and foreign mercenaries. An unmanned boat factory was also destroyed in the attack.
On the air defense side, Russia said it had shot down 120 Ukrainian UAVs, along with a US-made HIMARS rocket in the past 24 hours.
Since the beginning of the campaign, Russia has announced that it has destroyed a total of 74,580 UAVs, 664 aircraft, 24,442 tanks and armored vehicles, along with tens of thousands of enemy artillery and specialized vehicles.
The Kinzhal missile attack - a Russian weapon that can reach Mach 10 speeds and penetrate most of today's air defense systems - once again shows the "high-speed warhead" tactic being applied by Russia to neutralize Ukrainian command and supply units.
