RT reported that on February 3, a large explosion occurred at the Scarlet Sails luxury apartment complex in northwest Moscow, killing at least one person and injuring many others.
According to the Telegram Shot channel, the explosion occurred in the hallway near the elevator of a building in the complex.
The injured were taken to hospitals by medical helicopters, according to video from Shot and several other media outlets.
Armen Sarkisyan, founder of the Arbat Battalion, a force fighting against the Ukrainian army, may have been the main target of the blast.
According to Mash channel, Sarkisyan is in serious condition and being treated in hospital. Meanwhile, Interfax said he died, but there was no official confirmation.
Sarkisyan is also the President of the Boxing Federation of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
The explosion occurred while he was walking in the hallway, possibly a targeted assassination, according to Shot sources.
Sarkisyan is in the infamous Mirotvorets (Peacekeepers) database linked to the Ukrainian state.

According to images from RT, the building's windows were shattered by the explosion. Rescuers are working at the scene, while police are combing the underground car park for more explosive devices.
RBK said the explosive device may have been detonated remotely, suggesting the attack was premeditated. Police are examining security cameras to try to trace the attacker.
