Daily News reported that Phuong Dai Special Steel Technology Company, headquartered in Nam Xuong, Jiangxi Province, gave Tet bonuses to employees on February 1.
Accordingly, each employee of the company's total 5,000 employees receives a bonus of up to 32,000 yuan (over 5,000 USD).
According to SCMP, the Tet bonus awarded by Phuong Dai Special Steel Technology Company took place after photos of bonuses for employees of Jiuzhaig Company, a branch of Phuong Dai Group, spread on Chinese social networks last week, making the public extremely excited.
Specifically, the total Tet bonus for Cuu Giang company employees is about 278 million yuan (more than 44 million USD), weighing 2 tons.
The output and profits of this Chinese steel manufacturing group have reached a record high in the past year. According to SCMP, the bonus of the management and leadership team is not included in the above Tet bonus that caused a stir.
