According to CNN, a statement from Pakistan security to the press said that among the Indian aircraft shot down by Pakistan, there was 1 MiG-29 fighter jet and 1 Su-30 fighter jet. These aircraft were shot down by Pakistan "for self-defense".
In addition to the fighter jets, an Indian Heron drone was also shot down.
The statement did not specify where the crashed aircraft crashed.
Another senior Australian government official also confirmed the same list of shot downs.
Previously, Pakistan authorities announced the shot down of three fighter jets and one drone.
Iran military spokesman Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said eight people, including children, were killed and 35 injured after India launched airstrikes on targets in Pakistan early on May 7.
Among the five people killed was a 3-year-old girl in Ahmadpur East, punjab Province, Pakistan. A man was also killed in Muridke, punjab, a city near Lahore.
In the Kashmir region managed by Pakistan, a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man were killed in the city of Kotli.
India has targeted six locations, with 24 airstrikes in both Pakistan and the Kashmir region managed by Pakistan, spokesman Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said.
