Soldiers of the Russian Northern Army Corps achieved the best results in gaining territorial control in the special military operation area last week, with about 100km2 in the Kharkov region, military expert Andrey Marochko said on September 21.
According to Mr. Marochko, in the past week, 10 residential areas fell under the control of Russian forces, including 5 residential areas in the Kharkov region, 3 areas in the Donetsk People's Republic and 2 areas in the Zaporozhye region.
The Northern Army has controlled more than 100km2 in the Kharkov region," he wrote on his personal VKontakte social network after analyzing data released by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The expert said that the consequence is that the tactical and operational situation that the Ukrainian army faces on the Kharkov front continues to worsen.
At the same time, teams of the unmanned aerial vehicle system of the Russian Northern Army Corps have destroyed more than 200 Baba-Yaga Ukrainian helicopters in the Kharkov Region since the beginning of September, the head of the Department of Planning and Anti-UAV Operations of the 11th Army Corps, codenamed Karta, told TASS.
