The Russian United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), a member unit of the Russian state-owned defense industry group Rostec, has completed production and handed over an additional batch of Su-35S multirole fighters to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
This is the last batch of Su-35S delivered in 2025, according to a Rostec announcement.
The aircraft in the latest delivery batch have fully completed the mandatory inspection items, including ground tests and flight tests at the factory, before being officially transferred to the Russian Aerospace Forces" - Rostec's statement stated.
A Su-35S pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces said that the Su-35S fighter jet showed high combat performance in a special military operation.
Within the framework of performing the task assigned by the Russian Defense Minister to provide modern weapons and equipment to the army, the flight crews received the Su-35S. The aircraft is very convenient, comfortable and highly reliable. This is a type of fighter that is especially favored by units, and the pilots also love it very much. The Su-35S has proven its clear effectiveness in a special military operation" - this pilot said.
In the announcement, Rostec said that 2025 is a record year for Russia's fighter jet manufacturing industry. Currently, the aircraft manufacturing enterprises of the group have begun to implement fighter production plans for 2026.
The Su-35S fighter production plan has been completed. Our factories are actively implementing programs for next year. The Su-35S is one of the most used aircraft in the military and has destroyed the largest number of targets in a special military operation" - Rostec emphasized.
UAC General Director Vadim Badekha said that 2025 is the period when UAC's businesses operate at high intensity to complete state defense orders.
Some of our factories have completed their production plans this year, and the rest are in the process of completing signed contracts. UAC is gradually increasing the production of military equipment prioritized by the military, while fully implementing its commitments to the Russian Aerospace Forces," he added.
