On December 23 - 24, the inspection team to control the presence of toxic substances in animals and aquatic animal products, and the 2 shell relatives of Ha Tinh province took 7 samples of catfish in Ha Tinh province for quick testing of formaldehyde (formol).
Test results showed that 5/7 potato samples had formaldehyde residues.
5 non-guaranteed potato models were discovered in business households: Ms. Tran Thi M (residing in Phu Nghia village, Loc Ha commune), Ms. Nguyen Thi T (residing in Ha hamlet, Tran Phu ward), Ms. Nguyen Thi H (residing in Bac Lac village, Thach Lac commune), doing business at Vuon Uom market, Thanh Sen ward; Mr. Phung Van A(Xuan Phuong village, Loc Ha commune) doing business at Thach Kim Fishing Port, Loc Ha commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi L (village 1, Cam Trung commune) doing business at Don market, Thien Cam commune.
According to the traceability results of the Department of Rural Development and Quality Management of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the above potato fish originated from other provinces (mainly in Lam Dong province), packaged in foam boxes and sent to retail for businesses in the Ha Tinh market. Establishments often buy and sell via social networks, causing many difficulties in supervision and management.
Currently, the authorities are continuing to investigate and trace at major focal points, resolutely handling them strictly according to the provisions of the law.
