Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document on organizing fireworks displays to welcome the New Year 2026.
Ho Chi Minh City arranges 3 high-altitude fireworks display points. Among them, the display point at the beginning of the Saigon River Tunnel (An Khanh ward) is the largest in scale, with 1,260 high-altitude fireworks, combined with 60 low-altitude fireworks and 10 fireworks displays.
The remaining two locations are located in the New City Center area (Binh Duong ward) and Tam Thang Square (Vung Tau ward), each location firing 500 high-altitude exploding fireworks and 60 low-altitude exploding fireworks.
In addition, 3 low-altitude fireworks display points are located at Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi ward), SAIGON MARINA IFC Tower (Saigon ward) and Kim Long Villa area, Rach Dia bridge area (Nha Be commune). Each point uses 90 low-altitude firework sets.
The fireworks display time takes place from 0:00 to 0:15 on January 1, 2026.
In addition to the fireworks program, on the evening of December 31, Ho Chi Minh City also organized a countdown event to welcome the new year 2026 at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, creating a vibrant atmosphere, serving people and tourists during the New Year holiday.
