Wastewater discharged into the sea during the renovation of Jomtien beach (Thailand) causes seawater to turn black, causing great concern.

A clip recording the scene of wastewater being discharged directly into Jomtien beach, in Bang Lamung district, Pattaya is spreading strongly on social networks, causing concern as the seawater in this area turns black.

The video widely shared on Facebook shows the dark-colored sewage flowing into the sea along Jomtien beach, causing local people and tourists to worry.

Reporters present at the scene confirmed that the affected area is part of the Jomtien beach landscape improvement project being implemented. The contractor is implementing drainage items, including installing drainage pipes and washing the pipes connected to the rainwater reservoir, to prevent flooding when it rains heavily.
