This is not the first time Thailand has deployed F-16 fighters in the conflict with Cambodia. On July 24, the F-16 fighter jets of the Royal Thai Air Force conducted precision airstrikes on Cambodian military command postures.
Khaosod reported that on July 27, the Thai military announced that it had destroyed Cambodia's PHL-03 multiple rocket launcher, with five more. Thailand said the remaining launchers "will be destroyed soon".
Previously, on July 27, Khaosod reported that Thailand's VT-4 tanks were deployed to cut off Cambodia's military transport route. Thailand's Military Region 2 Command also warned people to be on guard against the possibility of Cambodia firing a series of PHL-03 missiles into Thai territory, after receiving a withdrawal order from Cambodia.
According to the announcement, Cambodia is said to be able to simultaneously launch many long-range missiles PhL-03 with a range of up to 130km, covering all provinces of Ubon Ratchathani, Surin, Sisaket, Buriram, and part of the districts of Yasothon provinces (Maha Chai Chai, Wang), ROI ET (Muang Suang, Suwannaphum, Phon, Phon Phrai, Nong Hi, Kas Wisai, Kas Wisai, Kas Wisai, Kas Wisai, Kas Wisai, Kas Wisai, KaTet Wisai, KasTuumumumumuumumumum, Kase RAT), Maha Sarakham (Phayakhaphum Phisai) and Nakhon Ratchasima (many southern districts).
However, Cambodia has denied using the PHL-03 system against Thailand and accused Bangkok of spreading false information.
The Khmer Times reported that on July 27, Cambodia said that Thailand continued to attack the country from both sides by shelling and bombing Cambodian civil sites in Samrong Sangkat, Samrong city, burning down many houses.

Also on July 27, Major General Winthai Suvaree - a spokesman for the Thai Army - said that Cambodia continued to use long-range weapons to attack Thai territory. Many clashes continue at points along the border, with many types of firecrackers and rockets falling outside the military range in Surin Province.
According to Mr. Winthai, Thailand was forced to conduct military campaigns to prevent casualties for civilians from prolonged shelling from Cambodia.
On the same day, July 27, Thai Culture Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and the working delegation visited Surin province, encouraging people at the temporary evacuation center located at Rajamangala Isan University of Technology, Surin, which is receiving about 1,400 people evacuated due to border conflicts.
Ms. Paetongtarn then visited the injured soldiers at Surin Hospital and acknowledged the efforts of the medical team, military forces, police, volunteers and local people who are stationed at the front line.
