The suspect in the sexual assault case in Thailand will be brought to court on the morning of April 3 (local time) to consider temporary detention according to regulations.

A man accused of sexually assaulting the actress in Bangkok has apologized and admitted his actions, while authorities continue to complete legal proceedings.

According to information from the police, the incident involves Ms. Kulsatri Misaralski, also known as Kristin, a model and actress with dual Thai-German nationality. The victim reported to the police after being sexually assaulted in a state of unconsciousness due to a panic attack at an apartment in Wattana district.

The suspect is Nikorn, 35 years old, who was arrested by the Bangkok Southern Criminal Court on charges of committing indecent acts against a person over 15 years old in a state of inability to resist. Nikorn used to be a rescue volunteer before moving to Bangkok to work for a private company.

During interrogation at Khlong Tan police station on April 2, suspect Nikorn admitted to taking pictures of the victim and said the action stemmed from "a moment of thoughtlessness". This person affirmed that he did not know the victim, did not intend to infringe more seriously and had never committed a similar act before.

The suspect also apologized to the victims and rescue units, emphasizing that all acts of abuse were committed by individuals and were not related to any organization. The suspect said he had deleted the images after taking them and did not disseminate them.

Functional agencies said they will bring the suspect to court on the morning of April 3 (local time) to consider temporary detention according to regulations.

A representative of a rescue organization in Sa Kaeo province confirmed that suspect Nikorn used to be an active volunteer, regularly participating in supporting emergency cases. People who used to work together expressed surprise and disappointment at the incident, and emphasized the need for the law to handle violations.

Rescue units said that the volunteer selection process is carried out strictly, including training, behavioral assessment and background checks. However, they also affirmed that they have not directly worked with the suspect and want to clarify the whole matter.
