Daily Mail reported that the animal with a unique white fur is a buffalo, born in June at Bitterroot Valley Beef Farm in Missoula, Montana, USA. This 121-hectare farm is home to 90 female cows and 8 male cows.
According to researchers, only about one in a million buffaloes are born white, and many will lose snow white as they grow.
On August 29, indigenous tribes in the northwestern US state of Montana held a ceremony to honor the birth of this super rare white buffalo. The animal is known by Native Americans as "The White buffalo of the created beings", a symbol of hope, peace and empowerment for women.

In 2013, a blue-eyed white buffalo named Big Medicine was born at a red-skinned reserve in Montana, USA. After his death in 1959, Big Medicine was cotton-pented, commemorated and displayed at the Montana Historical Association.
