Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's speech was made on October 22, a day after the news of the summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin was postponed.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban emphasized that preparations for the meeting in Budapest, Hungary between President Donald Trump and President Vladimir Putin are still underway.
"Hungarian Ambassador Peter Szijjarto is in Washington. Preparations for the peace summit are still continuing. The date is still uncertain. When the right time comes, we will organize it" - Mr. Orban wrote on Facebook.
Last week, President Donald Trump said he and Mr. Putin would soon meet in Hungary in an effort to end the conflict in Ukraine.
On October 21, Mr. Donald Trump said he did not want a "wasteful meeting" but noted that there may be more developments and "we will notify you in the next 2 days".
