Test results showed that the Tesla boss was negative for all drugs. The test is believed to have been conducted by Fastest Labs of South Austin since June 11.
The move comes after an US newspaper in May accused the SpaceX founder of using drugs while backing Trump's presidential campaign last year.
After that, billionaire Musk immediately denied these allegations, and criticized the newspaper for intentionally spreading what the SpaceX founder called "fake news".
The American technology tycoon even challenged those behind the articles to take drug testing and announce the results as he had just done.
Billionaire Musk frankly said, "They won't do it."
In another development on June 17, social network X - under the management of billionaire Elon Musk - announced that it is suing New York state for a new law that would force companies to share their content censorship methods.
