According to AFP, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to arrive at the White House on July 28 to hold talks with US President Donald Trump.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 9:30 am on July 28, Washington time (ie: 8:30 pm on the same day, Hanoi time), in the context that both Kiev and Moscow are intensifying long-range attacks, while diplomatic efforts promoted by the US to find a solution to the conflict have not yet made progress.
A White House official confirmed that the meeting will take place on the same day as the memorial service for US Senator Lindsey Graham - a strong supporter of Ukraine, who passed away this month at the age of 71.

Earlier last week, the Ukrainian President said he had exchanges with President Trump's Special Envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to promote the diplomatic process to end the 4-year conflict.
Relations between President Trump and President Zelensky have gone through many ups and downs, from the heated debate in the White House Oval Office in February 2025 to Mr. Trump's more conciliatory stance towards his Ukrainian counterpart recently.
The last time the two US and Ukrainian leaders met was in Turkey earlier this month.
In recent weeks, Ukraine has increased attacks targeting many targets on Russian territory, including oil storage facilities, oil refineries, cargo ships in the Azov Sea and some warehouses of the e-commerce group Wildberries.
Meanwhile, Russia continues to maintain large-scale airstrikes targeting Ukraine, while attacking the port of Odessa and transport ships operating there.
