China reveals secret underwater combat vehicles at defense exhibition in Saudi Arabia.

At the 2026 World Defense Exhibition (WDS) taking place from December 8th to 12th, 2026 in Saudi Arabia, China displayed the latest combat submarine model.

The warship named SDV-01 is manufactured by the State Shipbuilding Industry Corporation of China (CSSC).

SDV-01 is a type of combat vehicle with the task of transporting frogmen and special forces from the water surface to the underwater combat environment. The ship has the ability to carry many special forces to perform tasks such as combat diving, underwater sabotage and reconnaissance.

At the 2026 World Defense Exhibition, China introduced many naval weapon systems. These products are increasingly attracting attention in the context of the Chinese navy promoting the building of an offshore force and expanding shipbuilding capabilities.
