Ukraine said that Belarus has deployed a significant force of soldiers and equipment at the common border between the two countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine warned Belarus not to make mistakes.
The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine also called on the Belarusian armed forces to "stop hostile actions" and withdraw troops from the border.
Ukraine also accused Belarusian special forces, former members of the Wagner mercenary group , of being among those deployed on Ukraine's common border with Belarus.
The equipment that Belarus deployed on the border includes tanks, artillery, air defense systems and technical equipment. The location where Belarus placed these devices is in the Gomel region, near the northern border of Ukraine.
The Foreign Ministry's statement emphasized that Ukraine "has never and will not take any hostile action against the Belarusian people".
On August 18, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko accused Ukraine of deploying more than 120,000 soldiers on the border with Belarus and deploying nearly 1/3 of the country's armed forces along the entire border.
On August 16, Belarus said it had sent aircraft, air defense forces and armor to the border with Ukraine.
