Vietnam hopes Cuba and the US will soon reach a common voice

Vietnam welcomes and supports Cuba and the US conducting dialogue to find solutions to differences in bilateral relations.

At the regular press conference of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the afternoon of April 2, Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang answered questions from the press about Vietnam's views on the current situation in Cuba.

Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said: "Vietnam is interested in monitoring the situation and believes that Cuba will overcome and overcome the current difficulties and challenges".

The representative of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized: "Once again, Vietnam affirms its traditional solidarity and friendship with the brotherly Cuban people and consistently supports the resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly requesting the lifting of unilateral embargoes against Cuba".

Vietnam welcomes and supports Cuba and the US conducting dialogue to find solutions to differences in bilateral relations, on the basis of respecting independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and the basic principles of international law, Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said.

Vietnam hopes that the two sides will soon reach a common voice to move towards improving and normalizing relations, for the benefit of the people of the two countries, for peace, cooperation, stability and development in the region and in the world" - Ms. Hang added.
