The VnExpress Da Nang International Marathon Herbalife Cup 2026 gathers 13,000 athletes, including amateur runners, professional athletes, elite groups and about 1,000 international athletes. The race is divided into four competition distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42 km. The highlight of this year's race is the designed route taking athletes through three symbolic bridges of the city: Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge and Thuan Phuoc Bridge. In addition, runners also have the opportunity to stride through My Khe, An Hai beaches and typical roads along the Han River bank.

To take advantage of the cool weather conditions of the early morning and bring the best competition performance for athletes, the longest distance was started from 3 am on July 19.
The event takes place for three days, from July 17 to July 19. In the first two days (July 17 and 18), the Expo area and race-kit distribution at Bien Dong Park opened, attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and experience the booths of sponsors and partners.
On the morning of July 18, the Kun Marathon for children aged 6 to 10 also took place at Tien Son Sports Palace. With a distance of about 700m and completely free participation, the children's track aims to encourage healthy exercise habits, help children practice physical exercise and experience the spirit of sports in a fun and natural way.
At the finish line, the athletes who complete the distance will receive a completed medal designed in the shape of a heart combined with images of the Dragon Bridge and Da Nang sea in the main blue tone. For the two long distances of 21 km and 42 km, the athletes who complete the stage will receive an additional finisher shirt of the tournament.
