At the "Bicycle for the Future" event held in Ho Chi Minh City, two Dutch citizens, ick Keijzer and Sven Broekhuizen, received much attention from the bicycle-loving community.
After an 11-month and 20,000km journey, the two Dutch men Rick Keijzer and Sven Broekhuizen arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on February 16. They departed in March 2024, cycling through many countries and territories from Europe, Central Asia to Southeast Asia.
Sharing about the memorable journey with the Ho Chi Minh City press, Sven emotionally said: "We arrived in Vietnam across the Cambodian border, and the feeling of just a few dozen kilometers away from the border gate was hard to describe. I feel extremely happy and proud to have achieved my goal after many challenges".

Forick, this journey is even more meaningful as he meets his parents again after a long time apart. To surprise their son, ick's parents traveled from the Netherlands to Vietnam the day before. Sharing emotionally, ick said, "I didn't expect them to fly here to meet me on such a special occasion. It feels like meeting them again after so long is really happy".
The special thing about this trip is the warm welcome of the people of Ho Chi Minh City. When the two boys arrived in the city, they were unexpectedly welcomed warmly and affectionately by the locals, something that not everyone has enjoyed after a long journey. Bothick and Sven felt happy to realize that everyone was caring and loving them.
Welcomed enthusiastically in Ho Chi Minh City, ick and Sven could not help but be surprised, feeling like they were motivated for the next journeys. They shared that this trip is not only a physical challenge but also an extremely valuable spiritual experience, bringing them unforgettable memories.
