The Vietnam Billiards & Snooker Federation said that the tournament will compete from March 13 to March 22 (round 1) in Bac Ninh. The entire tournament recorded nearly 700 players from 9 units nationwide who have registered to participate.
According to common practice, the tournament is called the National Championship. However, according to regulations for the year the National Sports Games will be held, the tournament is not called the National Championship.
Therefore, the Vietnam Billiards & Snooker Federation changed the name of this year's tournament to the 2026 National Club Billiards Championship. The tournament competes in pool and snooker events in the first competition program.
At the tournament, the events allowed to be played include individual male pool 9 balls, individual male pool 10 balls, individual male billiards England, individual male snooker 6 red balls and individual female pool 9 balls. According to regulations, the tournament will apply newly updated rules from the International Federation of Billiards & Snookers. In the pool 9 balls event: High stacked balls, 3 balls to the kitchen, free break; In the pool event: apply the 40-second time rule.
The billiards event of the X-2026 National Sports Games will be held in December in Ho Chi Minh City. The competition program of the 2026 National Club Billiards Championship is not included in the overall medal standings of the Games.
After round 1 of the tournament, the final round will take place in June. At that time, the Vietnam Billiards & Snooker Federation will announce the final competition program for the events.
