On September 5, the President of the Vietnam Shooting Federation - Mr. Do Van Binh announced the hot bonus levels for the achievements of the ASIAD 20 competition.
Accordingly, the Vietnam Shooting Federation will reward 200 million VND/medal if the Vietnamese shooter wins 1 gold medal.
In addition, each silver medal will be awarded 100 million VND, and a bronze medal will be awarded 50 million VND.
The Vietnamese shooting team has registered 15 shooters to participate in ASIAD 20.
Among them, many prominent faces of Vietnamese Sports including Pham Quang Huy, Trinh Thu Vinh, Nguyen Thuy Trang... are in the ASIAD 20 competition force.
Three years ago, shooter Pham Quang Huy won a gold medal in the men's individual 10m air pistol event.
Currently, the shooter continues to be a key athlete of Vietnamese Sports participating in ASIAD 20 and receives the target of defending the gold medal achievement.
The shooting event of ASIAD 20 organizes 28 events.
In which, pistol shooters will compete in 9 events (4 men's events, 4 women's events, 1 mixed men's and women's event). Rifle shooters compete in 9 events (4 men's events, 4 women's events, 1 mixed men's and women's event).
Recently, the Vietnamese shooting team sent 15 shooters to train in Korea. This is the last professional training session before competing at ASIAD 20.
The shooters have finished Korean training and are now returning to prepare professionally at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center to have a stable mentality.
It is expected that the Vietnamese shooting team will go to Japan on September 17.
