On July 24 local time, 3 female shooters Trinh Thu Vinh, Nguyen Thuy Trang, and Bui Thi Thu Thuy competed in the women's 10m air pistol event.
At the end of the qualifying rounds, Trinh Thu Vinh achieved 576 points to rank 16th. She did not win a spot in the final of the event.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Thuy Trang ranked 20th (575 points) and Thu Thuy ranked 28th (570 points).
Winning the gold medal in the women's 10m air pistol event of this tournament is shooter Yao Qianxun (China).
In this year's tournament, top world faces are participating in competition. In addition, many Asian shooters preparing for ASIAD 20 are also participating.
Trinh Thu Vinh is registered to participate in 3 events at the 2026 World Cup, including 10m women's air pistol, 25m women's sports pistol and 10m men's and women's team air pistol.
