June 12th was the final competition day of the tournament held in Taiwan (China), but shooter Trinh Thu Vinh did not win any more gold medals.
She competed in the mixed men's and women's 10m air pistol event with teammate Nguyen Dinh Thanh. Unfortunately, Thu Vinh and Dinh Thanh did not win a final ticket after the qualifying round.
In this event, 2 shooters Nguyen Thuy Trang, Pham Quang Huy competed together and contributed 1 bronze medal to the overall team result.
Today, June 13, the coaching staff and shooters left Taiwan (China) to return home.
In the end at the tournament, the Vietnamese shooting team won 9 gold medals, 12 silver medals, 9 bronze medals to rank 2nd in the overall medal standings.
Ranked first is the host shooting team Taiwan (China) with 12 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 5 bronze medals. The Indonesian team holds third place (7 gold medals, 9 silver medals, 4 bronze medals).
In the above results, we have 3 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 2 bronze medals in individual results shootouts.
At the 2026 Southeast Asian Championships, Trinh Thu Vinh did not win a personal gold medal in the events she participated in.
However, during the competition, she contributed to the result of winning a gold medal in the women's 25m sports pistol team event (Thu Vinh, Thuy Trang, Thuy Dung) for the team.
Before participating in the 2026 Southeast Asian Championship, the Vietnamese shooting team had 15 key shooters competing in the 2026 World Cup in Germany. Trinh Thu Vinh has participated in Germany.
Returning to Vietnam, the shooters continue to practice professional preparation and are expected to have a foreign training program before participating in ASIAD 20.
