The teams completed eight matches in the 2024 National Volleyball Championship on the evening of November 12, before advancing to the semi-finals and relegation battle.
The four teams that qualified for the semi-finals included VTV Binh Dien Long An, Thanh Hoa, Duc Giang Chemicals and LPB Ninh Binh. The Information Corps only ranked 5th on the rankings, marking the third consecutive year without winning a medal.
The relegation battle in the 2024 season will change slightly. The bottom four teams will play a round-robin to determine points, with the two teams with the lowest points being relegated. The results in the relegation round will be combined with the results of the head-to-head matches in the group stage.
The teams that will compete in this round are Vietinbank, Quang Ninh, Geleximco Thai Binh and Hanoi respectively.
In the semi-finals, VTV Binh Dien Long An will face LPB Ninh Binh, while Thanh Hoa will meet Duc Giang Chemicals.
