They are champion of AVC Challenge Cup 2024, 3rd place of FIVB Challenger Cup 2024, 5th place of Future Stars 2024 friendly tournament and runner-up of SEA V.League 2024.
Remember, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet encountered many difficulties when the players did not have much time to practice together, and each individual's physical strength was not in the best condition when they gathered at the beginning of the year. The 2024 VTV Cup international women's volleyball tournament takes place from August 24 to August 31 at the Ninh Binh Provincial Sports Stadium.
Participating in this year's tournament, there are 8 teams from countries and territories divided into 2 groups. According to the draw results, Group A includes the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, the Indonesian women's volleyball team, the Kuanysh VC club (Kazakhstan), and the Korea Expressway club (Korea).
Meanwhile, Group B has the presence of King Whale Taipei club (Taiwan, China), Aranmare Yamagata club (Japan), Henan Shuanghui club (China), Kobabelka club ( Russia).
These are all quality opponents from many countries in the region such as Korea, China, Russia... promising to create attractive and satisfying matches for fans.
