At the end of October, VTV Binh Dien Long An confirmed that it would not participate in the 2025 Women's Club World Championship organized by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). The reason given is that this tournament takes place at the same time as the 33rd SEA Games in the context that VTV Binh Dien Long An has many players who will be called up to the national team.

After much speculation, the FIVB has recently announced the final representative to participate in the tournament taking place in Brazil. The team to replace VTV Binh Dien Long An is Orlando Valkyries - PVF 2025, one of three professional volleyball tournaments in the US.

In the 2025-2026 season, the Orlando Valkyries squad will have the participation of many outstanding stars, notably the Thai setter Pornpun.

VFV awards at 33rd SEA Games

According to information from Mr. Le Tri Truong - General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV), if Vietnam's national volleyball teams win medals at the 33rd SEA Games, they will all have the opportunity to receive a bonus. This is the content that will be according to the plan based on the resolution of the VFV Executive Committee approved from the first meeting of the year.

It is known that the bonus will be carefully considered based on actual achievements, while ensuring based on the resources that the Federation has.

To prepare for the 33rd SEA Games taking place in December in Thailand, the Vietnam women's volleyball team has been training in Quang Ninh since October 25. Meanwhile, after many weeks of training in Bac Ninh, the Vietnam men's volleyball team has moved its training location to Ho Chi Minh City.

Former middle blocker Pham Thai Hung shares his experience

Recently, on his personal page, former middle blocker Pham Thai Hung posted a video of him coaching students to play volleyball. He shared: "The importance of regular practice. Volleyball coaches often encourage students to practice at least 3 sessions a week.

Exercises such as jumping, endurance running, hand and shoulder exercises will help improve strength, jumping ability and reaction time. In particular, beginners should focus on practicing basic skills and ball feeling before switching to advanced techniques".
