According to a survey at 9:15 p.m. on November 12, world oil prices decreased simultaneously. WTI crude oil prices fell by 1.31 USD/barrel (down 2.15%), down to 59.73 USD/barrel. Brent oil prices fell by 1.33 USD/barrel (down 2.04%), down to 63.83 USD/barrel.
Crude oil prices fell more than 1% in the trading session on Wednesday, as the market continued to be pressured by supply, although investors expected the United States to soon end a long government shutdown to contribute to improving energy demand.
For the domestic market, the Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) forecasts that domestic gasoline prices may decrease by 0.2 - 0.3% tomorrow compared to the previous adjustment period. VPI forecasts retail price of E5 RON 92 gasoline to be stable or slightly decrease to VND19,660/liter, while RON 95 gasoline forecasts a slight decrease to VND20,386/liter.
VPI forecasts that in this period, mazut prices may continue to decrease by VND315 to VND14,005/kg, while kerosene and diesel prices may increase by 2.2 - 2.3% to VND19,317/liter and VND19,587/liter, respectively.
VPI forecasts that the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade will continue not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund this period.

On the contrary, a representative of a petroleum business said that domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase.
In particular, RON 95-III gasoline price is forecast to increase by about 110 VND/liter; E5 RON 92-II gasoline increases by about 90 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 460 VND/liter.
In the recent adjustment session (November 6), gasoline prices decreased simultaneously compared to the previous price management period. Of which, E5 RON 92 gasoline is priced at VND19,682/liter (down VND78/liter). RON 95-III gasoline is priced at VND 20,416/liter (down VND 72/liter).
Prices of oil products fluctuated in different directions. Of which, diesel 0.05S is priced at VND19,323/liter (up VND120/liter); kerosene has a new price of VND19,395/liter (up VND124/liter); mazut 180CST 3.5S is priced at VND14,320/kg (down VND319/kg).
