Bich Tuyen, Bich Thuy apply for a probationary period in Korea
According to Yonhap News of Korea, a total of 143 athletes have submitted try-outs for the 2025-2025 National Volleyball Championship. In which, Tran Thi Bich Thuy and Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen have both completed their applications.
Korean newspapers highly appreciate Bich Tuyen for her jumping ability and formidable strength. Her compatriot Bich Thuy has just worn the GS Caltex shirt and performed quite well in the first 2 months of 2025.
Other names that have also attracted attention are Japanese middle blocker Haruyo Shimamura, opposite player Emma Burton (Australia), or middle blocker Yolla Yuliana (Indonesia).
The Asian foreign player selection round of the Korean national championship will be held online on April 11.
Nhu Quynh did not participate in the Hung Vuong Cup
Vi Thi Nhu Quynh will not join Vietinbank in the Hung Vuong Cup 2025 because she has to return to compete for her home team Quang Ninh in the 2025 A-class volleyball tournament.
Nhu Quynh was loaned by Vietinbank to compete in the first phase of the recent national championship and contributed significantly to the team's achievement of reaching the top 4. To add to the Hung Vuong Cup taking place from April 3-6, Vietinbank also borrowed opposite setter Doan Thi Xuan and retained young striker Dang Thi Hong.
Quoc Duy says goodbye to the Ho Chi Minh City Police men's team
Opposite Nguyen Van Quoc Duy was loaned by Ho Chi Minh City Police Club to participate in the first phase of the national championship. Unfortunately, he did not get to play regularly due to the huge competition in the squad.
Quoc Duy will not join the Hung Vuong Cup team but will go to Dak Lak to compete in the A-class tournament for the home team Tra Vinh.
Previously, Quoc Duy was a member of the Vietnam men's volleyball team participating in the 31st and 32nd SEA Games. However, not being able to play regularly could affect his chances of being called up to the national team in 2025.
