Striker Hoang Hong Hanh of Duc Giang Chemicals has had impressive form in the 2025 national championship season. Therefore, she was first called up to the Vietnam national team by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.
Sharing about this honor, the female player said: "At first, I felt a little shy because there were big sisters and younger sisters from many different clubs. However, after about a week of focusing on the national team, I have become more integrated. In terms of expertise, I have been helped by the sisters to fix each ball. So I am very comfortable and have adapted to the team's playing style."

Currently, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is actively training their physical strength and tactics in Vinh Long to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games. In the sprint phase, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will not train abroad, instead, there will be a number of friendly matches with the men's and women's teams in Vinh Long and Tay Ninh. This helps Nguyen Thi Trinh and her teammates practice their attacking and defensive skills... especially their competitive mentality.
