Bich Thuy won the final match in the GS Caltex shirt
On the evening of March 20, GS Caltex faced the top team Hungkuk. It was quite a surprise when GS Caltex won with a score of 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-21). This is also the team's last match in the Korean National Volleyball Championship. After this match, Bich Thuy will return to Vietnam.
Although they no longer have a chance to pass the group stage, this victory helped GS Caltex escape the bottom of the table, finishing 6th. Since Bich Thuy joined the team, she has helped GS Caltex's performance improve. It is expected that tomorrow (March 21), she will return to Vietnam, preparing with Duc Giang Chemicals to participate in the first phase of the national championship starting on March 22.

National championship has 18 foreign players
In the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, a total of 18 foreign male/female players were registered. Each male/female event has 9 foreign players competing.
All 8 women's teams participating this year have hired foreign players, only Duc Giang Chemicals owns 2 foreign athletes. In the men's event, only Hanoi did not register foreign players, while Ho Chi Minh City Police and The Cong Tan Cang hired 2 foreign players.

HCMC's quality foreign player Michal Kubiak
The Ho Chi Minh City Police men's team has been in Dong Anh in recent days to practice getting used to the field. Coach Duong Tan Vinh and his team are entering the final stage, with high determination towards a successful tournament.
Notable in their squad is foreign player Michal Kubiak. He is one of the famous faces of European volleyball.
Kubiak plays as a main striker and is a member of the Polish men's volleyball team. The player is 1m92 tall with the ability to jump the attack speed of 3m47.

Kubiak played in Japan and was named the best main attacker of the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons. He has participated in 4 Olympic Games, and won the world championship twice with the Polish men's volleyball team in 2014 and 2018.
