On the afternoon of July 7, the Central Internal Affairs Committee held a meeting to announce the results of the 28th meeting of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity (Steering Committee). The 28th meeting of the Steering Committee chaired by General Secretary To Lam at the Party Central Committee headquarters took place on the same morning.
At the meeting on the morning of July 7, the Steering Committee agreed to end the direction of handling 10 cases and 6 cases because the settlement had been completed in accordance with the provisions of law; agreed to include the following cases and incidents in the Steering Committee for monitoring and direction, including:
(1) The case of "Giving bribes; Receiving bribes; Violating regulations on management and use of state assets causing loss and waste" occurred at Viet Trung Minerals and Metallurgy Company Limited and related units;
(2) The case of "Forgery of documents of agencies and organizations; Giving bribes; Bribery brokerage" occurred at TSL Scientific Joint Stock Company and related agencies and organizations;
(3) The case of "Violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences; Producing and trading counterfeit food goods" occurred at ZHolding Company;
(4) The case of "Illegal possession of narcotics; Organizing illegal use of narcotics; Giving bribes; Receiving bribes; Brokerage bribes and Taking advantage of positions and powers while performing official duties" occurred at the Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry and a number of related units and localities;
(5) The incident with signs of forging documents of agencies, organizations and giving bribes occurred at Avatek Science and Technology Company;
(6) The incident showed signs of bribery and bribery at the Department of Food Safety, Ministry of Health.
